Diamonds is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna for her seventh studio album, Unapologetic (2012). It was written by Sia Furler together with its producers, Benny Blanco and StarGate. The song premiered on September 26, 2012, during the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and was digitally released the following day as the lead single from Unapologetic. "Diamonds" is a mid-tempo electronic and pop ballad performed with heavy synthesizers, orchestral sounds, and electronic rhythms. It was well received by most critics, some of whom complimented Rihanna's different musical direction, while others criticized the song's production. The single topped music charts in over twenty countries, including the United States, where it became Rihanna's twelfth number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 and tied her with Madonna and The Supremes for the fifth-most number one singles in the chart's history. The song's music video was shot by director Anthony Mandler, a frequent collaborator of Rihanna's, and depicts her in four environments that represent the elements of earth, air, water and fire. The singer included the song on the 777 Tour and the Diamonds World Tour set lists. (This article is part of a featured topic: Diamonds.)

- NB We had Rihanna on the main page as recently as July with Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. BencherliteTalk 06:06, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- Is there a rule saying the artist shouldn't appear in a short period? Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded is an album, this is a song, I didn't know that might affect.— Tomíca(T2ME) 08:06, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- No rule, just something to be noted - many other FAs about the music of 20th- and 21st-century soloists and groups are available... (And no distinction is drawn between albums and singles for the purposes of points, by the way). BencherliteTalk 14:45, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- Support, high-quality article, should be given more points to emphasize women on the Main Page, which is underrepresented in general on this website and on the Main Page, as well. Cheers, — Cirt (talk) 03:35, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - As Bencherlite mentioned, we've had another Rihanna related TFA recently. I don't understand the rush for this to be on the main page. No harm in waiting. I understand Cirt's reasoning (under-representation), but don't think it outweighs the fact such a similar TFA has been up recently. – Shudde talk 12:05, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose - No logical reason for the same artist to feature in TFA twice in so many months. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 05:23, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
