The Bengals do not and have ever had a person with the official job title of "general manager". Duke Tobin, per the Bengals is the "Director of Player Personnel". Mike Brown is the owner and for some time acted as a "de facto" GM as did his father Paul who founded the Bengals. However, none of the men listed in the template have ever had the actual title of "general manager". Mike Brown is listed as president on the previously linked website. Some sources incorrectly refer to Tobin as general manager but that doesn't match with what the Bengals say on their website. Rockchalk717 17:31, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

- Delete there's 3 people on the template, 2 of whom the template says have held the job unofficially. That means at most 1 person has ever actually held the job (and possibly 0), which is not enough to justify a template. Joseph2302 (talk) 17:15, 17 November 2023 (UTC)

- Template:2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Super 8 Group 1 (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Super 8 Group 2 (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Not needed, the tournament doesn't start until June 2024, and the teams in each group won't be known until the first group stage is complete. Pointless to keep these empty templates for 7-8 months, when no information is known (the fixtures for the group stage which precedes the Super 8 isn't even out yet). Wikipedia:WikiProject Current events/London Bridge task force is a task force of Wikipedia:WikiProject Current events and should use Template:WikiProject Current events with a task force parameter. Gonnym (talk) 19:03, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- Comment see my comment for {{Robb Elementary School shooting task force}} below -- 65.92.244.127 (talk) 21:47, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- At any rate, this particular TF banner can be deleted as the event it supports is no longer a current event. Though a genericized template would preclude the need for continual deletion, and such a one would prevent churn on the main project banner -- 65.92.244.127 (talk) 21:47, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- Keep - The banner template is needed for archival purposes. Note, this WikiProject task force received media attention: [1][2]. Keep for archival purposes. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 22:36, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- Comment instead of a TF banner, perhaps it should be an article history tag, an event like a COTM, GOCE, ARS, or editathon collaboration note in the article history box. {{article history}} could be modified to add COTW/COTD/COTM/(collaboration of the event) "COT" switch with an optional date of collab (needed for COTD/COTM/COTW), and this TF indicated with that? I suppose it would be similar to the ACID settings currently at {{article history}} -- 65.92.244.127 (talk) 22:50, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
- I may be wrong, but isn't that what it is, an article history tag? "This article is part of the London Bridge task force, which is part of the WikiProject of Current events and began in September 2022." The template shouldn't be deleted, but rather updated to reflect the inactive project. Still a piece of article history. Same goes for the other templates nominated for deletion today, but for sure this one given the notability of the task force. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 22:54, 22 October 2023 (UTC)

- Comment The banner should be merged with Template:WikiProject British Royalty and/or Template:WikiProject Politics of the United Kingdom. Since this covered Queen Elizabeth's death and by default, it involved a very relevant topic about the royal family and politics of the UK. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 23:55, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
- Would you reparent the task force to a different WikiProject? -- 65.92.244.127 (talk) 04:15, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
- Merge per nom, but target British Royalty per WCM. Izno (talk) 06:10, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
- merge with {{WikiProject British Royalty}}, but we should probably tag
{{WikiProject British Royalty}}
before doing so. Frietjes (talk) 15:43, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

- COMMENT if this banner is merged to WPBROY's banner, then the task force should be reparented to WPBROY as well, as it is no longer a current event, so nothing should be tagged with this banner if it remains as WPCURRENT task force -- 65.92.247.90 (talk) 06:56, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
