An unnecessary cross categorisation. The award is fan-based and there are no individual articles per year. I'm also including with this nomination all other templates in Category:Pink Grand Prix templates. See past discussions for the templates in the series already deleted:

- Comment. Nominator states they are nominating all the templates in the category. However, as of now, none of the other templates are tagged for deletion nor are they individually listed here. If the nominator wants to do a bundled nomination, please do it right. • Gene93k (talk) 19:46, 10 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Gene93k: thank you for the reminder; I tagged the rest of the templates individually with the TfD tag. K.e.coffman (talk) 01:54, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

Template has 0 transclusions. In addition, Template:Social Infobox and Template:Social infobox do not exist and never existed, so clues regarding what this template is connected to are difficult and/or impossible to find. The only clue I could find was on the template's talk page: Apparently, the infobox was previously part of Template:Planet Infobox/Earth, which was deleted in 2007. - Template:Demographics (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
It is unclear when this template was last used. Per its description, it is intended to be substituted. However, in addition, this template seems to be specific to the United States. For that reason, I'm unsure when this was last used since the template's current state reflects the 2000 census, though there was a newer census in 2010 since population census is taken every 10 years. Unless this template's purpose is made clear and/or updated, it may be best to delete this andequated template. Steel1943 (talk) 18:51, 9 February 2019 (UTC)

Propose deleting Template is full of redlinks. Organization for which it was to be used - Roller Derby Association of Canada - has been dormant for nearly five years and it appears to be extremely unlikely this template will be of continued use. Echoedmyron (talk) 16:57, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete Roller Derby Association of Canada is a red link. Better to create it and delete the template. Nigej (talk) 18:45, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Main article can serve as point of links, no prejudice to recreating the template if this organisation is indeed revived and articles created at some later date. --Tom (LT) (talk) 23:25, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete, organisation is defunct and it is no longer a useful way of grouping former member leagues. Warofdreams talk 15:12, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

- Keep {{Taxonomy/Lonchognatha}} - @Gonnym: Can you show evidence of deprecation? Lonchognatha is still in fossilworks with support in the literature from 2014.[1] --Nessie (talk) 17:42, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
- Look at the template linked, a deprecation template has been added to it 6.5 years ago, has not been challenged since, and the template is not used in any articles. It says instead to use
{{Taxonomy/Novialoidea}}{{Taxonomy/Pterosauria}} (fixed). Whether the name exists in that site or not it irrelevant, as it is deprecated and not used by the editors here who work on those articles. --Gonnym (talk) 17:47, 13 February 2019 (UTC)- {{Taxonomy/Lonchognatha}} says to use {{Taxonomy/Pterosauria}}, not {{Taxonomy/Novialoidea}}. The reason it came to my attention is that I am upgrading Harpactognathus from a manual {{taxobox}} to a {{Speciesbox}} and fossilworks says that Lonchognatha is the parent. And "not used by the editors here" is not a good citation. Please show a source or some specific evidence. If it's so well-accepted a change then it should be easy to find. You stated it was "deprecated for over 6 years" but I show the taxon was used in the literature in 2014. -Nessie (talk) 18:02, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you want from me. Templates are code used by Wikipedia editors. The code does not care what happens in the real world, only what happens in en.wikipedia. The editors who use these templates, deemed them deprecated for whatever reasons. Lonchognatha, as an article, does not exist, and in fact redirects to Pterosaur, which happens to also be the name of the template the deprecation note says to use ({{Taxonomy/Pterosauria}}), and "Lonchognatha" is not even mentioned in that article or talk page. What is mentioned is "Lonchodectidae", which has a corresponding template called Template:Taxonomy/Lonchodectidae. --Gonnym (talk) 11:33, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Gonnym: if it's up to editors, then as an editor I can un-deprecate it and use it? Is that what you're saying? And if "Lonchognatha" is not mentioned on Pterosauria as a synonym then perhaps the redirect is incorrect? It is listed as a synonym on Novialoidea (with qualifications). And the Caelestiventus article shows a tree and cites a paper from 2018 using the clade.[2] Based on this, and the lack of any current information to the contrary, I have to vote to keep {{Taxonomy/Lonchognatha}}.

- comment I would prefer they were not labelled as 'deprecated', the template refers to an available name (I'm assuming) and may become a current name. They could be viewed as a caution against use of the taxon, because it is likely to disagree with other arrangements, but could conceivably become used again. cygnis insignis 08:09, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete if unused. Unused taxonomy templates are no different from any other templates; if they are not being used, they should be deleted. Whether the taxon name might be used, is utterly irrelevant. We don't keep templates because they might be used in the future, but because they are used now. {{Elementbox}} was deprecated, deleted and replaced by {{Infobox element}} at least 5 years ago, but there are still 64 templates listed at Category:Elementbox templates which weren't removed. - Template:Nations at the 2019 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Full of red links, likely never to be created judging per previous events. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 05:04, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete. The only blue-link is a redirect. No use for this navbox. Ajf773 (talk) 12:14, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete. Similar templates don't exist for earlier European Youth Olympics. Despite the world "Olympics" this is a rather minor event. A look at 2017 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival#Participating nations shows 34 red links out of 34 nations: eg Albania at the 2017 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival. Best to delete to discourage creation. Nigej (talk) 12:52, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Better as a category. --Tom (LT) (talk) 23:25, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Support. Even though it is a "minor event" (almost 1000 participants from 46 countries), I think it deserves the creation of all the articles (sports, events, nations) like all other events with the word "Olympics". Last Winter Youth Olympics had around 1100 participants from 71 countries, and there you can find all those articles. Furthermore, I think that argument that previous festivals do not have those articles, does not imply that this edition should not have them. I would really like to create all of the nations articles, so in this case, after creation of articles, can this template be used again?- Delete. After discussion with Sportsfan 1234, I was informed that there is consensus not to create Nations at EYOF articles, so we do not need this navbox. --HamoPipa0609 (talk) 23:30, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
