Gender bias
[edit]Wikipedia has acknowledged its gender bias: Only 17% of biographical articles on the Wiki are about women and nearly 90% of all editors are male and this fundamentally mis-represents women, women's history, and (at its core) the purpose of the encyclopedia. Please help to fix this issue by supporting Wikipedia projects like Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red and, specifically working on Classics, the Wikipedia:Women's Classical Committee.
