  1. Oppose - this is in reality a C or B class article despite its outdated WikiProject rating. --Aqwis (talk) 20:09, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

One of the United States' South Dakota-class battleships, Massachusetts served during World War II. Put into reserve shortly thereafter, she was given to Battleship Cove to be a museum ship, where she remains today. Massachusetts is one of only five U.S. battleships open to the public, the others being Alabama, New Jersey, Missouri, and the old Texas.

  • Comment I am not a member of this project but would be very willing to help out (along with other members of WikiProject Primates) should you choose to endorse this article. A very important article with much scope for improvement, a possible FA in future? Cheers, Jack (talk) 16:01, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
  • Yes, with a plentiful supply of sources, it's got FA potential (for the future). I don't think this project is capable of producing that, since FA takes rigorous perfecting work, but GA would be our best aim. I've been less active with the Spotlight recently, but this I am quite looking forward to working on. JamieS93 18:50, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

A pretty poor article (excuse the pun) compared with English Poor Laws and the recently expanded Irish Poor Laws. Is this too niche for Spotlight? Francium12 (talk) 15:32, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Comment I don't think that this is too niche; we could do with a couple of book sources with more detail - of course, online would be best. I think that this is quite an interesting suggestion.  Chzz  ►  16:05, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

This article is a neglated article. However many people in the Docklands depend on this rolling stock. Therefore, I think it deserves to be expanded. --Tyw7  (Talk • Contributions) 21:40, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm planning to work on this article extensively for the next couple of weeks by myself. Long story short: I recently found this article when I was messing around clicking the random page link. It only had a couple of sentences as the content with no refs. So, I did a web search on it. Came across numourous sources; and think it has great potential. I plan on improving it over the next week or so by myself, regardless. I'd love it if it gets spotlighted of course. :-) Burningview (talk) 03:45, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

This start-class article has good info and cool videos, but is sadly lacking in refs, etc. As it is surely a very easy topic to source, I feel that it would make a good candidate.  Chzz  ►  05:09, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Start-class high importance Germany article. Lots of history, etc. including numerous particular events. Lots of sources suitable for article as current, like this; I'm sure there is plenty of other material out there for expansion. The building's one of the most famous sites, and sights, in Berlin. The German article has numerous sources listed at the end, albeit in German. Plenty more to say; I'm aware there will be a language barrier or sorts, except there must be books written about it. Another source is here, which is fairly extensive and claims to be official. If done well, the page can also be the base of other German political pages, for example. Palace of Westminster can act as a fair example. It gets up to 1,000 views a day. - Jarry1250 [ In the UK? Sign the petition! ] 11:16, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey. Jack Roush is an article that I have been looking to fix up for a long time. Right now it is poorly sourced by easily source able . It really does not a lot of work. It is a start class article listed as high importance by the Wikiproject Nascar.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 00:04, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Top, Start (should be reassesed to C probably). One of the main cats, critically endangered. Lacky sourcing, potential to expand. 725k ghits on "lynx animal or cat", such as general overviews [6], [7], or [8], going into specific breeds, such as, [9].
