Wikipedia is a volunteer run, charitably funded project. It is offered as a free service with no warranties or guarantees. No contract exists between you the user of Wikipedia and the project or the Wikimedia Foundation which maintains the infrastructure. We do our best to fix things in a timely manner, especially if they are causing hurt or upset, but there is no service level agreement and no deadline.
If you've asked us to do something, and someone has said they will do it, then chill. The person you asked is not getting paid to help, and you're one of those not paying them. Sure, we'll be right on it, but don't chase us.
