Wikipedia:Routine Deletion

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Routine deletion is a process of WP:FFD, that is separated from the normal FFD, that is for unencyclopedic, or very blurry images.[a]

Criteria

[edit]

The criteria are:

  • R1− The file has no realistic potential for use in the mainspace. It cannot be used in any article, either for an article about the image, or with the image serving any useful role. (This is inclusive of very low quality or blurry files.)
  • R2− The file is a "vanity image", if the uploader has made few contributions to the English Wikipedia outside of their userspace, and it cannot be used by anyone but the uploader.
