These references of the "right to vote" are to a concept that concern particularly sensitive ranges of the English-language Wikipedia which guarantees that participants in decisions related to Wikipedia have a certain experience stated within the principles listed below. This particularly applies to opinions which are deeply concerned with the organization of the Wikipedia intervene. Decisions influenced by inconversant Wikipedians will not reflect the opinions of Wikipedia's informed populace. The modern concept of the "right to vote" resolves these issues accordingly.
In order to facilitate the privileging of contribution to said decisions, one is obliged to have:
- an official Wikipedia membership.
- actively and cooperatively participated in Wikipedia for a minimum of two weeks.
- at least 200 nonvandalistic edits on Wikipedia attributed to their username.
Users of Wikipedia who fulfill these requirements may have their "right to vote" revoked if they have been found to commit:
- election fraud.
- vandalism.
- sock puppetry.
