Wikipedia:RfA talk page coordination

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As WT:RFA (Requests for adminship) has so many contributors that posting there is like shouting into a wind tunnel, a few editors have appointed themselves as RFA talk coordinators; this position has no authority, no community mandate, and is, like everything on Wikipedia, totally voluntary. As coordinators, we will try to keep track of everything on WT:RFA so that everyone's voice gets heard. The coordinators will be compiling lists of opinions on WT:RFA as the threads progress. If someone's opinion/suggestion is totally ignored, we will bring it up again. If it looks like multiple people have a certain position, we will try to guide discussion to a point where it is clear to all what the general consensus is on that viewpoint.

Coordinators

[edit]

Coordinators serve for a month, or until they burn out, which ever is soonest; other editors are free to volunteer at any time, and coordinators are free to quit at any time.
