Steps being taken to solve the problem
[edit]- A large "Wait" sign currently displays when you attempt to create a page to nominate yourself
- Consideration given to Minimum requirement for adminship.
Options
[edit]A special protection at RFA such that editors with <1500 edits and/or less than 6 months tenure can't transclude nominations. That wouldn't prevent nominators making exceptions, but it would stop self noms who will snow fail - by the time someone has 1500 edits they have probably learned enough to know not to run till they are ready).
