• (added by ChrisGualtieri) The user, Lucia Black, is currently topic banned from all things Anime and Manga broadly construred and has a one-way interaction ban with the user, ChrisGualtieri. I propose an exemption of this page be requested and brought to the Administrator's Noticeboard so Lucia Black can participate instead of waiting out remaining the duration of her three month editing restrictions.

   You know, I really don't see what the point is in all of this other than Chris getting formal wording that says "No, the pages will never be merged again" because that is the state the pages are currently in but fine.—Ryulong (琉竜) 16:16, 23 September 2013 (UTC)

• Thanks for filing this request. I see that there was a previous request for mediation on this subject in January that was declined, but given the events that have taken place since then it seems that this dispute is ripe for formal mediation. At the moment, we're waiting to see if Ryulong and Lucia Black want to participate. I am aware that Lucia Black is topic-banned from anime and manga topics, and that she is interaction-banned with ChrisGualtieri. I am hoping that we can get an exception granted to these bans to allow her participation in the mediation, but until this is granted I'll be communicating with her by email. (Or if she doesn't want to communicate by email, we can always reach some other arrangement.) If any of you have any questions about what this process might entail, feel free to ask here, or to email me or the committee, and we will try and sort things out. • Update: we are now waiting on the request to allow an exception to Lucia's topic bans. At the moment the discussion is split fairly evenly, so there is no telling what the result may be. If the exception is not granted, mediation won't be able to proceed (at least, not until November). Also, I noticed that there is a new ANI thread that Ryulong and ChrisGualtieri are involved in. We can't start the mediation until this has been dealt with as well, as it's very hard to come to agreement with other editors about a content matter when you are also involved with discussions about their conduct.
