Tyvex/k

[edit]

Tyvex redirect to Tyvek. Are they the same material? When I search Google for "tyvex", I can't find anything about Tyvex, just sales listings for clothing products like "Tyvex Overalls". But some of these listings (example) note that these products come from DuPont, which manufactures Tyvek, so I'm wondering if Tyvex is simply a brand name for clothing made out of Tyvek. It might just be a common misprint that an editor (Solarcaine, in 2008) decided to make a redirect for. It's likely that some spelling confusion arises from the existence of the similar material Gore-Tex. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 94.2.5.208 (talk) 02:39, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Note that the image on the sales listing for "Tyvex Overalls" has "DuPont Tyvek" on the packaging of the product, so here it is clearly a misspelling.  --Lambiam 09:18, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
