[edit]Is there a website like Urban Dictionary, but looks like Wikitionary?
[edit]Urban Dictionary looks completely different from Wikitionary, but Wikitionary doesn't accept definitions without a source / protologisms. Someone-123-321 (talk) 07:49, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
- Try our list of online dictionaries, though of course a dictionary is pretty worthless if it accepts just any random contribution. Shantavira|feed me 11:12, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
- Wiktionary only accepts entries of lexical terms that are, or have been, in actual use for over a year. But it does not require a "reliable source" for the definitions of these terms in the same sense as Wikipedia does for encyclopedic information. Wiktionary editors may freely use "original research" in their efforts to define the meanings of entries, using their understanding of the meanings intended by users of such terms. --Lambiam 11:41, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
