[edit]Football goal element
[edit]Hello. After the classic elbow and pole net supports located behind the football goal, I came across these other net support systems. In both the Argentine World Cup in '78 and the American World Cup in '94, I found these. The Argentine goalposts are shorter than the American ones; I ignorantly called them both (because they are the same model, only the size changes) 'batten' goalposts. But what is the most appropriate term for them? I thank you.

- Here they are called "L-supports". --Lambiam 09:12, 27 July 2022 (UTC)
