Question about Steve Irwin

[edit]

Are there any crocodile experts that have tv shows similar to Steve Irwin? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:8D80:406:AB36:FA01:99CB:1818:8C9D (talk) 05:12, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

His widow and children now make Crikey! It's the Irwins. Never seen it, but it's the same family. Same zoo. Probably an equally high level of knowledge between them. HiLo48 (talk) 05:19, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure there was at least one, possibly two other presenters with a similar "here is an incredibly dangerous animal, I'm going to chase it up a tree/down a hole and grab hold of it with no apparent regard for my own safety" shtick, but I can't remember their names (I think one may have been South African). Can anyone else identify them? Iapetus (talk) 09:33, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There is Monster Croc Wrangler with Matt Wright. --TrogWoolley (talk) 09:46, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Austin Stevens, South African, but similar in that he goes into the wild and then tackles snakes and other dangerous animals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.162.76.127 (talk) 10:17, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In the UK, Steve Backshall is famous for handling dangerous animals including crocodiles in his Deadly 60 BBC children's TV programmes. In 2010, he was bitten by a caiman filming one episode in Argentina. Alansplodge (talk) 16:47, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
