[edit]Find a customer service location
[edit]In what country is the Customer Service department of BCBS Medicare Advantage Texas located ? Moonarama (talk) 20:55, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- Did you try calling and asking? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 20:59, 3 February 2020 (UTC)
- You can ask, but you might not get an answer. In general this kind of offshoring is meant to be seamless, i.e. it doesn't matter where the call centre is physically located, you should (in theory at least) get the same level of customer service as if it was in the US. You can probably tell that the call center operative is not physically in the US because the phone line might not be of such good quality and the operative might not have an American accent. But as I say, in theory it's irrelevant. --Viennese Waltz 10:48, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
- Unfortunately it is not seamless, and BT lost a lot of customers (including me) after complaints that they couldn't understand the Indian operators.[1]
- The official theory might be to be "seamless", but the real theory is cheapness. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 16:16, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
