[edit]The US Postal Service and tax dollars
[edit]From what I've seen, the US post office doesn't get any federal tax dollars for its budget. Yet Trump is saying that he's going to cut funding to the USPS. What am I not understanding here? How can he cut something that doesn't exist? Does "tax dollars" not mean "federal funding"? Thanks, †dismas†|(talk) 00:15, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Dismas: Yes, the USPS does not take tax money [1]. However, it appears there is a proposal to provide $25 billion in funding as part of the stimulus packages, and this is what Trump is appears to be opposing [2] RudolfRed (talk) 02:37, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- @RudolfRed: Thanks! I'd seen the first site but the second sheds light on my confusion. Thanks again! †dismas†|(talk) 15:14, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
What's this window sticker I've seen on a couple cars?
[edit]I've seen it at least a couple times. From what I can remember, it looks like the interstate shield with a roman numeral I in it. Searching the internet, I can't find it, so I'm probably mistaken about exactly what it looks like. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.2.138.144 (talk) 03:15, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- In case it's something local to where you live, you should probably mention where you've seen it. Do any place names starting with I come to mind? --174.89.49.204 (talk) 03:40, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- Various american cargo/trailer companies contianing the name Interstate[3][4][5] put a sticker like this on their products. Nanonic (talk) 08:20, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
