[edit]wii shop channel shutdown
[edit]I want to talk with some people about the wii shop channel shutdown on wikipedia, how can I do that? Thepenguinmonster (talk) 15:34, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a forum for discussions, and especially not for non encyclopaedia matters. If you have a question about some computing subject the computing reference desk is the right place, but I guess you've already seen that if you got here. Otherwise I'd do a google with some terms that seem about right like 'wii shop shutdown discussion'. Dmcq (talk) 15:48, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
- (E?C) You don't. Wikipedia is not a social network. If you think that some event is worthy of inclusion in an article, you could start by taking that to the associated talk page, but even the talk pages are not places for idle speculation or general conversation about the subject (they're for discussion about the article about the subject.) - Yes this is not a social network, but there are plenty of contexts in which you could discuss that here. For example, the shutdown isn't well describe at our current article Wii_Shop_Channel, so you can go to the talk page there and ask people if they think we need to add to the article, then discuss what is happening and how to reference it, etc. SemanticMantis (talk) 17:31, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
