Improving appeal for donations

I would like to give an impuls about improving the appeal for donations and didn't find any other kontact form fitting my purpose.

It woult be wise to use the text of the appeal for donations to line out why it's important to donate if you can. Most people know, that it's easy to ignore the appeal, and it's not very motivating to say that most people do ignore the appeal (also see for that matter). In my oppinion it would be helpfull, to answer the unspokes question of many „non - donating people“: „why should I donate (=~ pay) for a free encyclopedia, when it's purpose is to make knowlegde free, NOT paid?!“ I would address this by saying something like: „If you can afford it, it is important to donate so that those people who can not afford giving money can still access free knowledge“ So „It's you helping to keep the information on Wikipedia freely avialable for all the others who don't have money“ And normally it's best to keep the appeal as short as possible, otherwise many people don't read the whole „Text“ of 3 Sentenses. My intention is only the help the Wikipedia community, and motivate other people who can afford it to help with their Donations. I would be very happy, to see an improved appeal for donations (not for me though, I did already donate ;)

I need help creating a page

Hello, This morning I was looking for information on police radar jammers,when www.yahoo.com thew me a curve and added a $19,548.76 spinlock jammer into the rest of the ad's that I was seeing. I tried to look up info and found nothing but links to stores and such. I went to good ol Wikipedia next and typed in spinlock jammer and nothing,"Did you mean: spurlock jaeger" was a result as was "Volvo Ocean 65 -volvo-ocean-race-2017-2018 https://www.spinlock.co.uk/en-us/hardware/remote-operation-clutches-and-jammers "New specifications on Volvo Ocean Race's 16 KB (1,204 words) - 13:08, 28 October 2017 could not find anything.So what do I do now =D ? A jammer is a safety device used in sailing yachts to stop ropes slipping: it has nothing to do with radar jamming. Spinlock is a company that manufactures them [1]. It might merit an extra sentence in the sailing article - but hardly a new page. A search engine just identifies words: it can't actually distinguish between one type of jammer and another.
