[edit]How do i properly shave pubes?
[edit]How do i properly shave my pubes? --174.92.216.105 (talk) 01:45, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- That only works for Chuck Norris! Clarityfiend (talk) 06:33, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Don't? [1] AndyTheGrump (talk) 02:05, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Buy a Braun or, even better, hire a prostitute. They won't mind and they will have a better view. μηδείς (talk) 02:23, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Or, hire a brawny prostitute, if the hair is really tough to remove, but beware any with an Adam's apple, unless you're into that. :-) StuRat (talk) 20:38, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- And for a serious response to what others assume is a trolling question... If you're a dude... and If you're a chick. Any more questions can probably be answered faster by simple Web searches. Dismas|(talk) 06:40, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
Cost of each MasterCard transaction
[edit]I'd like to know the fee for each online transaction using Mastercard's credit card, debit card, and prepaid card. Thanks --Sp33dyphil ©hatontributions 10:24, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- It depends on many things. The card issuer charges a fee to the merchant and maybe a payment service provider also charges a fee to the merchant. There might also be separate fees if the transaction involves foreign currency exchange. The merchant might choose to show you those fees as a separate 'handling fee' (eg. budget airlines like to do this so they can advertise €1 airfares) or they will more likely will bury those costs in the price of the product they are selling. Typical fees are around 2.5% but deals are negotiated to lower the fee for some merchants. The additional fee for foreign currency exchange can be 5% or more, often depending on the currency, but again commercial negotiations might serve to lower the fee. procedure for nomination of competent authority under the provisions of petrolium and minerals pipeline act
[edit]--121.242.117.142 (talk) 11:46, 17 August 2012 (UTC)procedure for nomination of competent authority under the provisions of petrolium and minerals pipeline act
- Which nation ? StuRat (talk) 14:44, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- The nation would be India. How we could be expected to know the answer, I have not a clue. Looie496 (talk) 18:47, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- It must be specified somewhere. But whether that somewhere is accessible by online researchers in other countries is another question. I haven't even looked, nor do I intend to, but it's not an unreasonable question, Looie. At its core, that is. -- ♬ Jack of Oz ♬ [your turn] 21:47, 17 August 2012 (UTC) Btw, no reasonable person expects anyone here to necessarily "know the answers" to their questions. What they hope is that we will help them find the answers. Big difference. -- ♬ Jack of Oz ♬ [your turn] 09:07, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
- Here's the text of the law if anyone fancies a read. It might be helpful if we knew which provision the question relates to (presumably a competent authority is appointed for a particular purpose?) --Colapeninsula (talk) 22:52, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
Julian Assange
[edit]Julian Assange If Assange was wearing an ankle monitor/electronic shackle, how did he managed to move from Norfolk to London? Shouldn't the alarm bells have ringed on the way? OsmanRF34 (talk) 19:20, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- From his article: "An extradition hearing took place on 7–8 and 11 February 2011 before the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court when the extradition warrant was upheld.". A court summon would presumably override any residency requirements of a bail. A8875 (talk) 20:11, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- The bail requirement was for overnight residence, not permanent residence; the electronic tag has a base station in the designated residence with which it keeps in constant touch, but it's not possible to detect the tag in a wider area. Assange's designated residence was changed in December 2011 from Ellingham Hall, Norfolk to a lodge in Eridge Park, East Sussex (rented by Sarah Saunders), which is significantly closer to London. my cams broken please help
[edit]my webcam is just coming up with a black sceen how can i fix — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.222.85.198 (talk) 22:30, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- That may not be enough info to figure it out. Did it ever work ? If so, what did you do on your computer between when it worked and when it didn't ? One thing you could try is pointing it at a bright light, to see if you get any image at all. Does it have an indicator light to tell you when it's on ? Is the light on ? Also, unplug it and replug it in, in case the connector is loose, turn it off and back on, and, as always, reboot your computer. StuRat (talk) 22:40, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Is it a built-in camera (like in a laptop case) or a USB one? I'd add to the above list: try it in a different USB port if it's a USB. And check it doesn't have a lens cover that you might have inadvertently closed. Can you tell if it's actually completely black, as in not working, or almost black, as in a really dark image? --Colapeninsula (talk) 22:58, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
