[edit]Volume of paraboloid by Cavalieri's principle
[edit]I discovered this proof myself a little over 2 years ago, but only a few months ago I was able to find a YouTuber who was both able and willing to do me this huge favor of creating a video on YouTube based on my original proof sketch.
Can a description of this proof be added to the page of Cavalieri's principle? יהודה שמחה ולדמן (talk) 23:47, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure this would come under the heading "Original research" which Wikipedia, in general, encourages you to find other places to publish. See Wikipedia:No original research for the full policy. YouTube, while a useful source of information, is not considered a "reliable source" by Wikipedia simply because it does allow people to self-publish there. Wikipedia has these guidelines in place to preserve the integrity of its content; it's not making any judgements about whether the material is valid or significant, but it simply doesn't consider itself able to make such judgments. --RDBury (talk) 11:56, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
