[edit]What are the precise dimesnsions for the holographic display in a Mark 8 Gunsight?
[edit]I've been wanting to reproduce it in a pixel format but can't do it accurately without some technical information.--Arima (talk) 06:04, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- Not really a math question. From what I could find this gunsight is WWII era technology and light holography wasn't developed until the 60's, so it's probably not a hologram. There were Holographic weapon sights introduced in the 90's but I don't think the Mark 8 was one of them. From what I could find the Mark 8 was an iteration of the Mark II (see [1]), a type of Gyro gunsight. Anyway, in the very likely event that I have no clue what I'm talking about, maybe you should try a forum specializing in gunsights and/or military history, I'm sure there are enough collectors and buffs out there to have organized something like that. It would be shear coincidence if someone with that kind of specialized knowledge read this page though. --RDBury (talk) 13:45, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
