[edit]What is the conversion factor for the horsepower that is used to indicate the power of a gasoline or diesel vehicle and the horsepower used to indicate the power of an electric motor? 71.100.10.48 22:29, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- The "horsepower" unit used for electrical equipment is exactly 746W. Several different "horsepower" units have been used for vehicle engines; see Horsepower. --mglg(talk) 23:26, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
