[edit]Geographic distribution of readers of the English Wikipedia
[edit]Is there any information on the geographic distribution of readers of the English Wikipedia? I'm looking for something like Wikipedia:Edits by project and country of origin, except (a) more recent than 2006 and (b) if possible, based on readers rather than editors. I've looked on Meta, and found the same page linked above, but not what I'm looking for. Perhaps someone on Meta or at WMF is more likely to know (since the data would have to come from our servers), but our ref desk is more fully staffed than those fora, so I thought I'd try here first. The two people mentioned on that page who created it are no longer active.
If the answer is "nobody knows", then advice on who/where to ask on Meta/WMF would be appreciated just as much. --Floquenbeam (talk) 20:25, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
p.s. Thread title says "English", and that's what I'm currently interested in, but bonus points for the same info about other languages. --Floquenbeam (talk) 20:26, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Here are some relevant stats from stats.wikimedia.org [1] [2]. SemanticMantis (talk) 20:58, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- @SemanticMantis:, you rock. Thanks. --Floquenbeam (talk) 22:15, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
