Phonotactics of the word boundaries.

[edit]

What part of phonology researches the possible sound combinations at the word boundaries, their distribution and statistics in a definite language etc. How such combinations are called? I can recollect the word "sandhi", but this is a little different, something else? "Interverbals", hm?--Lüboslóv Yęzýkin (talk) 14:42, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Boundary signals". There doesn't seem to be much about them on Wikipedia, but Troubetzkoy did some classic work on the subject... AnonMoos (talk) 16:17, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
