[edit]Tom Weller
[edit]Do we know whether the "Tom Weller" of Culture Made Stupid is or is not the same Tom Weller who did psychedelic art posters for West Coast bands (notably Country Joe and the Fish in the late 1960s? The image shown here, an example of his psychedelic art poster work, is in the public domain in the U.S. due to lack of notice, and I'm trying to put together at least a Wikidata item and a Commons category on him. - Jmabel | Talk Jmabel | Talk 02:26, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Answered my own question. They are apparently the same person, and here is his website: http://tweller.com/. - Jmabel | Talk 04:57, 20 January 2024 (UTC)

Amir Tsarfati
[edit]I cannot find anything about Amir Tsarfati any longer on Wikipedia. This person and their subject matter are important to many people around the world and I am surprised that both the person and the subject matter (religion and connections with today's affairs in the world) have just disappeared. Chrisandchantal (talk) 10:21, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, Chrisandchantal. Wikipedia has criteria for accepting articles, which are to do with the availability of independent published sources about the subject, rather than on popularity or fame or influence or importance (confusingly, we refer to these criteria as "notability", but that doesn't mean quite the same as its usual understanding).
- There was an article on Tsarfati, but it was deleted for this reason: see the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amir Tsarfati.
- Now that there is some stir about him, it is possible that some indpeendent commentators will publish material sufficient for a Wikipedia article, but so far that doesn't seem to be the case. ColinFine (talk) 12:29, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
