Bitcoin cabals

[edit]

I have heard that recently there have been to factions battling the price of Bitcoin over the last few days. One group buying and the other selling which is making the crypto bot owners rich. Would there be an IRC where they could be conspiring?Crypto Cabal (talk) 20:49, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean Internet Relay Chat? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots22:00, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Or a blockchain "fork"? -- AnonMoos (talk) 22:57, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What you are describing is known as a “market:” buyers and sellers both thinking the price is good. DOR (ex-HK) (talk) 00:49, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

These buyers and sellers seem to be moving the price together, like they are planning it somewhere. Look at the candles for 3-5 days, up big, then down big, repeat.Crypto Cabal (talk) 01:00, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You quoted the "not a forum", yet you're trying to do just that. No one here has any inside dope on what's going on in the crypto currency world. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots01:57, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If there is a Bitcoin price-fixing conspiracy being coordinated somewhere, the location is unlikely to be known to participants to this reference desk, and per WP:NOTFORUM, we aren't going to speculate on whether such a conspiracy indeed exists.
