Bangladesh–India border
[edit]How long is the Bangladesh–India border? The infobox says 4,156 km, and the introduction says 4,096 km. The shorter length is sourced to something from 2004, before the exchange of a number of India–Bangladesh enclaves simplified and shortened the border. 4,096 km appears somewhere else in the article, sourced to something from 2022, which seems rather preposterous: it's very unlikely that the removal of a lot of enclaves would result in absolutely no change in length. 175.39.61.121 (talk) 20:11, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- For land borders that aren't defined by simple lines, the coastline paradox is likely to apply and means that there isn't really a well-defined length. However, for what it's worth, the CIA World Factbook gives 4,142 km for this border. --174.95.81.219 (talk) 21:17, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
