[edit]Freireligiös
[edit]I have found an early 20th century Austrian who listed his religion Freireligiös. I see that the German Wikipedia has an article on what looks like this topic. Is there anywhere I can read about this movement in English? 146.198.85.88 (talk) 02:53, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
- Assuming that the religion is still basically Christian, which I think applies to the freireligiöse Bewegung in its 19th-century original form, an applicable topic is Nondenominational Christianity, which, however, is rather US-centric. A more generic term is Religious disaffiliation – which however presumes a prior affiliation. There is also Ietsism, which some may call “religious atheism”.[1] --Lambiam 13:38, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
- There is an article on the German movement in The Encyclopedia of Christianity, here. --Lambiam 13:48, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
