[edit]Website informing of UK TV-showings
[edit]I'm looking for a website, which will inform me some days ahead, if & when a particular actor or show will be on TV in the UK.
In Germany we have several of these offers, so I hope, there are ones in the UK as well.
Thank you. 2003:C1:9710:3A00:58C9:4DAD:E65:26D0 (talk) 16:45, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- The Radio Times is a well established listing. There are several others available. Shantavira|feed me 19:16, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your answer but the RT does not help me as far as I know.
- I'm looking for a site, where I can choose, say, "Roger Moore", and whenever there's a show with him, James Bond, The Saint, Ivanhoe, whatever, I get an email. Or I chose Midsomer Murders, and whenever it's on, I get an email. 2003:C1:9710:3A00:58C9:4DAD:E65:26D0 (talk) 22:18, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- I seriously doubt there's any such website. It would take an enormous amount of effort to even try to keep up-to-date. Clarityfiend (talk) 22:43, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hey, what about a wiki for forthcoming tv programs. All done by well-meaning and unbiased amateurs with no barrows to push. (* cough *). -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 22:54, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- They'd have to be nuts (translation: totally bonkers)! Clarityfiend (talk) 23:17, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Well, there are at least two such Services in Germany
- https://www.tvinfo.de/
- I suppose they get the information automatically by the TV-Channels 2003:C1:970C:A400:4CE8:5E41:D9EA:EDB9 (talk) 08:30, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
- It should be relatively simple to write some code to do this automatically. I bet anytime now GPT-X will be able to create the website in response to verbal instructions. --Lambiam 09:44, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
