[edit]Netflix ad - identify series
[edit]A Netflix ad, talking about their new stuff, appeared in my youtube feed today. It's a fast-edited montage of a bunch of unrelated items, and they don't do a good job of clearly naming each thing. Does anyone know what this is? It looks vaguely science-fictiony? I don't recognise the actor. 87.112.77.203 (talk) 22:07, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
- I don't know, but if you trim off the text box at the bottom and do a reverse image search on Google or TinEye, they might turn up something. I tried it on your original, and it did find hits, but they weren't relevant as far as I could tell. Matt Deres (talk) 01:39, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- I had the same result and also didn't seem to fit with any of the recent released Netflix were highlighting in their longer UK ads. I'm not sure whether there was anything before or after that person in the ad but since it doesn't seem anyone here recognises it, providing such details could help. - Thanks folks. I didn't think to try the reverse image search, but indeed it's to no avail. Unfortunately, the ad was a fast-moving montage advertising Netflix as a whole (pretty much "look at the shiny stuff we've got") so they gave no context at all (and being a youtube ad, there's no comments to fall back on). Never mind, and I shall never know, because there's so much media now it's gone as soon as you've missed it. No man ever steps in the same river twice. 87.112.52.63 (talk) 20:46, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
