Vehicle combat game for the original PlayStation that takes place in San Francisco

I remember back in the early 2000s, I played some kind of driving game on the original PlayStation. I only played it for a few days as the game belonged to a family friend and the disc was returned after a short while, so I don't remember many details about the game anymore. What I do remember is that some or all of the game takes place in San Francisco (I remember since one of the missions had the dialogue "San Francisco is a city in turmoil"), it was not a racing game but rather a driving game, it had combat elements (or at least you were trying to avoid obstacles and attacks), it had missions, and if my memory is correct, the main car used was either gray or black. And before anyone asks, it was neither those San Francisco racing games nor was it Driver. I also checked every game on List of driving and racing video games that had a PS1 version listed, but none of the games seemed to fit. Can someone help out here? Can someone find an obit

The Margie Hines (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) article has had some back and forth over a date for her death. IMDb and Behind the Voices are WP:USERGENERATED and I've been unable to find an obit in my web searching. I'm hoping that regulars of this R/D can do better than I have done. Not finding much on Ancestry.com, either. For what it's worth, their marriage license application dated March 3, 1939, states Jack Mercer's age as 26 and hers as 24. Thanks again for your research Baseball Bugs. I find it a little odd that no one noted the passing of someone whose voice was such a part of the cartoons that I grew up watching. Since there doesn't seem to be a Margaret Hines anywhere i think the logical conclusion here is she probably did remarry as what another user suggested so tracking her possible married name down is gonna be trickier as it could be literally anything. --ThatBaileyLad (talk) 01:41, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you look at [1] it is stated in the comments that she was older than Jack Mercer and altered her age on her marriage application. So she was born prior to Jack, and Jack was two months old at the time of the 1910 census. This ties in with the officially recorded date of birth, 1 October 1909. As regards her date of death, I don't think anything can be made of the fact that IMDb gives her age on 4 February 2011 as 102 - I think that was done mechanically by subtracting 1909 from 2011. I'm not sure why the original obituary is being claimed to be a hoax - Margaret Hines was a New York lass and there can't be many people called Margaret Louise Hines who died in New York State between January and September 2011 at the age of 101. 2A00:23C5:840F:1F01:51C3:5024:D4D0:25B0 (talk) 18:42, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Well chances are she probably did die in 2011 but we really need more concrete evidence here. Is it possible to check a Public Record's office in New York City since or the town she was born in cause chance's are they're maybe record's of her there. --ThatBaileyLad (talk) 20:00, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Going back to the original obituary notice, it was posted by Blair Whipple. He can be contacted via [2]. I've done test checks and the information seems to be 100% reliable. For example, the site says Gerry Rafferty died 4 January 2011 at 63 and Susannah York on 15 January 2011 at 72. Off-WP, I've had a message from someone researching the family's genealogy, stating: "Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any solid evidence of her after her divorce in Florida.... I don't think I've seen any validity to the 2011 death year. I remember looking into it years ago and never finding any evidence to support it...". This person gives Hines' birth date as 13 October 1909, by the way, though the official New York Birth Index gives 15 October 1909. Ghmyrtle (talk) 07:35, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Beyond My Ken's reasoning for doubting the obituary (06:53, 26 February 2012) is that the local newspaper didn't publish one. But local newspapers are not showbiz orientated, and even if they were there is no reason for them to record the death of an obscure actress (and that's assuming they were aware of it, which seems unlikely). Blair Whipple's website [3] is showbiz oriented, so would be expected to be both aware of this and record it.
