[edit]EQG Minis shorts
[edit]Before I put the Missing information template on the relevant section of the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls article, anyone got a clue about what studio animated the Equestria Girls Minis shorts (not those animated by DHX Media Studios, Top Draw Animation and/or Boulder Media)? - Possible lead (I haven't followed-up): this video was uploaded to YouTube by Thinkup Animation Studio: [1] — 2606:A000:4C0C:E200:B8C9:5825:C2D0:B7AC (talk) 17:43, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think that's from the shorts, but thanks anyway. JSH-alive/talk/cont/mail 11:08, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
I am not certain about this. The Minis only last for a few seconds (all of them last for less than a minute), feature minimal dialogue (and some of them seem to have no dialogue at all), and are released without any credits to their creators or voice actors. (With the maim voice actors of the My Little Pony franchise denying any involvement.) Dedicated fansites (when they mention them at all) mention no creator credits and the entries in the Internet Movie Database are stubs with little information other than the title.
The most notable feature of the Minis is that they are 3D Animated, contrasting with the animation style of the rest of the franchise. However some online reviews find the animation style amateurish. Did Hasbro actually hire professional animators? Dimadick (talk) 10:46, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
