Dakar Rally

[edit]

the Dakar Rally is a race of Dakar Series or name them alone?--2001:B07:6463:31EE:7D34:5FFC:728D:80DB (talk) 13:56, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The two articles make it very clear that the Dakar Rally (in South America) has never been included in the Dakar Series races - even though they are organised by the same group. Wymspen (talk) 14:18, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
thank you and Excuse me for Obvious question. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:B07:6463:31EE:7D34:5FFC:728D:80DB (talk) 14:24, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

looking for 2 movies

[edit]

I am looking for a number of movies which I remember to have partially seen.

1. It is set in Middle Aged Spain or Portugal. A young king is being tutored by a count who is a bit of a magician and disappears from time to time. The young Spanish or Portugese king goes to a brothel because he is frustrated with his wife. Does it ring any bells with anyone?

2. This movie is once more set in Spain but in 1930th civil war Spain. A young soldier is part of the execution command. There is a scene where he is drinking with another soldier and that other soldier tells him to go to a brothel but he does not want to. Anyone?

Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.66.97.1 (talk) 16:06, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any idea when they could have been made? Where they black and white? Was the color in that 70's hue? Was it made for television or shown in theaters? The first one is very similar to the King Arthur story. King Arthur is tutored by Merlin. When his wife cheats on him, he goes off and has sex with someone else - depending on the version of the story you read. 209.149.113.5 (talk) 19:50, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As for the 2nd, the only Spanish Civil War movie featuring an execution I know is Pan's Labyrinth (actually set during WW2, while the Facists were in charge), but that's a fantasy film and I don't recall any mention of brothels. See List of Spanish Civil War films for others. StuRat (talk) 03:28, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
