[edit]Beyond historical fictionalized real people and events
[edit]Is it beyond fair to historical fictionalized real people and events?
I mean I just wondering more and more about ever since I started watching Young Victoria on latest addition to PBS Masterpiece Theater, last week. In which the following day or two get me thinking more seriously about it. Ever since I read a article regarding it in Time Magazine. Well, it was in their daily email regarding the top 12 stories of the day. In which was talking about the fact vs fiction.--Jessica A Bruno (waybeyondfedup) 04:25, 24 January 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jessicaabrunowaybeyondfedup (talk • contribs)
- Try rephrasing that in complete sentences. Ian.thomson (talk) 05:43, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- Fiction by convention isn't obliged to provide a strictly factual account; caveat lector is implied. Read the page on Historical fiction. Also Testimony#Literature and some of the pages with internal links in Testimony#See also. The problem of a narrative's lacking veracity is surely more acute and consequential in real-life sociopolitics and legal matters. -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:19, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
Alternative Facts
[edit]Since America is now aloud to use 'alternative facts' can I write in that I am Benicio del Toro's spouse on his Wikipedia page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.172.50.138 (talk) 06:16, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is an international project, so no. Ian.thomson (talk) 06:38, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- Besides, you're probably not associated with the Trump Organization, which has the best alternative facts. Everyone says so! —Tamfang (talk) 19:18, 30 January 2017 (UTC)

- Yes you can, as you subsequently found out. Thank you for self-reverting your test edit. However, if Donald Trump or Sean Spicer wishes to edit Inauguration of Donald Trump#Crowd size, they must first create an autoconfirmed account since that article is semi-protected, and even then their additions would need to be verifiable and supported by reliable sources if they hope for their contribution to remain in Wikipedia. -- ToE 07:34, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- ESPECIALLY Trump. Clarityfiend (talk) 23:16, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- Aloud? Can they just think it instead? --Jayron32 11:49, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
NFC + AFC Championship game
[edit]A punt return for a touchdown has never been done in the Super Bowl but has it been done in an NFC or AFC Championship game? (Mobile mundo (talk) 18:38, 24 January 2017 (UTC))
- At least once. I don't know if a full list has been compiled, but Troy Brown returned a punt for a touchdown in the 2002 AFC Championship game. That game also featured a blocked field goal that was returned for a touchdown, which is even more rare than a punt return. --Jayron32 19:14, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- An asterisk for Garo Yepremian, who attempted a field goal, it was blocked, he picked it up, then he fumbled it away and it was returned for a touchdown in Super Bowl VII. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 22:12, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks (Mobile mundo (talk) 00:04, 25 January 2017 (UTC))
- There's a list of punt return touchdowns in the playoffs here. There are a few others in conference title games in addition to the Brown return. Golden Richards, Steve Smith Sr., and Santonio Holmes are listed as having returned punts for touchdowns in conference championships, and there were a couple more who did so in league championship games in the pre-Super Bowl era. Nicknames of national football teams
[edit]Is there a website that shows the nicknames of national football teams such as Zambian national football team are called Chipolopolo. Donmust90 (talk) 18:43, 24 January 2017 (UTC)Donmust90Donmust90 (talk) 18:43, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

2017 Southeastern Conference Football season article
[edit]Can You help me fix the error I made please. 68.102.39.189 (talk) 22:03, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- What's the error, and why can't you fix it? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 22:09, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
- The poster appears to be a little confused about article submissions. There's some weirdness on the draft page and on the AFC page. I'll drop a note on their talk page to seek out the help desk. Matt Deres (talk) 02:04, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
