[edit]Fiction genre
[edit]What's the name for a science fiction (sub)genre, similar to steam punk, but which features stuff based on the 20th century instead, including vehicles? As in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which has 20th-century-based taxis. Thanks. 212.180.235.46 (talk) 09:16, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Dieselpunk? --Jayron32 12:10, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Possibly, thanks, retrofuturism anyway. 212.180.235.46 (talk) 13:13, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- It isn't necessarily a genre as it is a style Luc Besson prefers to use. Even when he used flying cars in The Fifth Element, the cars themselves were styled like 20th-century cars. 209.149.113.5 (talk) 12:55, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
