[edit]Sounds familiar... Pink Floyd
[edit]Right after the words "as you claw the thin ice..." come 4 major (I think) chords. This sounds very familiar from elsewhere, some non Pink Floyd famous stuff. Can anyone help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by אילן שמעוני (talk • contribs) 12:27, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- As it's the end of that track it segues into the next one. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 13:47, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- While true, it's not non Pink Floyd אילן שמעוני (talk) 13:57, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
Star Wars - Jedi in love
[edit]Why is it forbidden for Jedi Knights to have romantic love? 86.130.115.252 (talk) 20:38, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- Because it's part of the Jedi Code. Dismas|(talk) 20:55, 4 June 2016 (UTC)
- But is that information canonical? Does the question even derive from a premise that's canonical? --69.159.60.83 (talk) 18:44, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
- According to that linked Wookiepedia Jedi Code article's Citation 4, which links to another entry on that site, it's from a canonical novel. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 5.66.223.127 (talk) 18:56, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
- Dialog in Episodes 2 & 3 makes it clear that love for Jedi is forbidden. In Episode 2, Anakin plays some semantic gymnastics (or simply bad dialog): "Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is essential to a Jedi's life. So you might say, that we are encouraged to love." - The Jedi are sort of a religious group right? Like space monks who keep the peace. See Celibacy. Lots of people think you can't be devoted to your religion and another person. Or something like that. Or maybe a wizard did it ;) SemanticMantis (talk) 13:56, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
