[edit]Musical challenge
[edit]Sometime back in late 1979 or early 1980, I saw this special program. Chuck Mangione was performing his hit Feels So Good. After he finished, he and the special program's host had a little challenge. It was the host doing the singing while Mangione was on piano and performing some backing vocals. The song performed sounded similar to the Wonder Woman theme song. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?2604:2000:7113:9D00:B81E:C008:E611:FADF (talk) 08:55, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
- Have you looked on Youtube for Chuck Mangione TV appearances? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 11:20, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
- He was in one of the Playboy disco shows during that time, but I expect what you remember is from Dick Clark's Salute, a few years later. Most shows, such as the Playboy show, Solid Gold, and various awards shows would only let him play one song and then move off for the next performer. Salute was all about one artist for the show. So, when Mangione did Salute, he played multiple songs. 209.149.113.4 (talk) 14:30, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
- That could be it. Thank you so much.2604:2000:7113:9D00:6972:B7D6:E5F3:974C (talk) 08:08, 1 September 2016 (UTC)
Commercial about diversity from the 1990's
[edit]I'm trying to find and/or verify the existence of a TV commercial from the mid or late 1990's. I think it was from either The Foundation for a Better Life or the Ad Council. It involved a black girl tutoring a white girl in the cafeteria of a high school. From another table, other black girls jeered at the black girl for helping a white girl. One of them says something along the lines of "Watchu tutoring her in? How to make white bread?!?!" That's about all I can recall of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!65.175.167.36 (talk) 23:13, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
