[edit]Filming trick for Captain America The First Avenger
[edit]Did the actor who supplied the skinny pre-super soldier serum body wear a green mask covering his face for the main actor's face to be digitally applied? 75.75.42.89 (talk) 02:16, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- Here is one of several websites that describe how it was all done by computer. Amazing stuff. MarnetteD|Talk 03:18, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
Sean Price next studio album titled?
[edit]To whom it may concern,
Quick question. What was Sean Price's latest album titled? Something like "Neglithus"? Please advise the correct spelling.
Thank you,
Nic Nash — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.247.28.67 (talk) 19:57, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- According to Wikipedia's article titled Sean Price discography, his latest studio album was released in 2012 and titled Mic Tyson. Sean Price passed away two days ago; I can't find any information on any planned solo albums in the works, but there's an as-yet-unnamed album which was scheduled to be released by Heltah Skeltah, a duo Price is a member of. I have no idea how the death of Price affects the release of said album. --Jayron32 20:09, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
What is this song?

- Now I want to know too! It is very familiar to me; sounds like it would be used in a 1970s documentary or movie score. Did you upload the file to soundcloud? Where did you get the file? Did you record it from another source? Any provenance might help other people figure it out. Also it's rather noisey, there's a small chance doing some audio cleanup would help Sound Hound et al. figure it out. Also you can try feeding smaller (~5 second) clips, sometimes those tools work better with a small clear riff than a whole song. (OP reports at link that Shazam and SoundHound failed to identify) SemanticMantis (talk) 22:41, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
- You're the third person on two websites to say it has to do with the 70's. I recorded the clip from E*Trade's hold music. They couldn't tell me, at least right away, what tune it was either. 69.22.242.15 (talk) 00:12, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- Sounds like a 1970s TV theme, a bit like Taxi, for example. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 02:04, 11 August 2015 (UTC)

- Other than my suggestion of feeding smaller samples to the SoundHound, the only other thing I can think of is to as this question at ask.metafilter.com They are very good at this kind of thing (examples here [2]), but it will cost you $5 for a lifetime membership. If you figure it out, please report back :) SemanticMantis (talk) 14:12, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- Some phrases in the last third of the recording seem lifted from "Jessica". —Tamfang (talk) 12:32, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
