[edit]Name of music video
[edit]What was the name of the music video about 4th of July Independence Day that was released this year? It was so badly composed that it was likened to Rebecca Black's "Friday". The name escapes me atm. --Sp33dyphil ©hatontributions 05:58, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

Date the first Happy days episode aired
[edit]Was January 15, 1974 the day the original version of first Happy days episode first aired, before Erin Moran portrayed Joanie; or did this version air on an earlier date? 108.0.244.168 (talk) 22:31, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- According to our article List of Happy Days episodes, "Two versions of this episode exist. The original version of the episode featured a few alternate takes and extended scenes. Additionally, Louise "Wish" Foley portrayed the role of Joanie. The dinner table sequence at the Cunningham's house was later reshot with Erin Moran in order to accommodate syndicated airings." So yes, it was Foley when it first aired (if the article is correct). The caveat is that this is cited to IMDb's entry on Foley, and IMDb is not considered an uber reliable source.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 22:52, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
- (edit conflict)Yes the very first episode of Happy Days aired on Jan 15, '74 and Fuhghettaboutit has given a good account of it. The IP is also referring to the unsold pilot episode. If you check here Happy Days#History and here Love, American Style#Happy Days there is info about that episode. Piecing together the info (yes WP:SYNTH is going on here) in the two sections the pilot was recorded in 1971 as New Family in Town. It then aired on L,AS Feb of 1972 as "Love and the Television Set" (IMDb does not list it by this title.) When Happy Days was created reruns of L,AS renamed the episode "Love and the Happy Days". Their is some discrepancy of this info between the Happy Days and the Love, AS article so if anyone has the time and inclination it could use some straightening out. - I do not mean the Love, American Style episode "Love and the Television Set" or the unsold pilot "New Family in Town". Did the version of the episode seen here, air on January 15, 1974? 108.0.244.168 (talk) 20:35, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
- I have two different books listing the television series that existed up into the early or mid 1990s, and they both list Jan 15, 1974, as the debut of the Happy Days series. They also talk about the 1971 and 1972 programs discussed above. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 07:16, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
- It sounds like Foley portrayed Joanie when it aired on January 15, 1974. Is this likely the case? 108.0.244.168 (talk) 08:41, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
- My source books didn't comment on that. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 14:21, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

- What is this footage I found on Youtube that the source books didn't comment on? I think finding the story behind this would make the article more precise. 108.0.244.168 (talk) 02:15, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
