Dororthy Provine
[edit]Where did Dororthy Provine go to high school? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Awbslc1 (talk • contribs) 16:39, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Although the spelling "Dororthy" has a surprisingly large presence on the Internet, do you in this instance mean Dorothy Provine? 87.81.230.195 (talk)
- [Further) If you did, various sources describe her father as a "Seattle-based businessman", and the article here states that she attended high school in Seattle. 87.81.230.195 (talk) 18:18, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Amputee golfer at Dunhill Links Championships
[edit]I can't seem to find the scoring or results for the amputee golfer, de los Santos, who played this past weekend in the Dunhill Links Pro-Am Championship. I would like to know how he scored. If someone can point me to a result, especially if it is actually somewhere on the site for the championships, where I think I've looked extensively. But any results will do. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.98.238.113 (talk) 18:07, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- The team of Bland and de los Santos tied for 22nd after three rounds with a 20-under-par 196 and missed making the cut for the final round by a single stroke.[1] De los Santos shot 4 over par (76) on the first round.[2] Clarityfiend (talk) 23:29, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Does anybody recognize this extremely short story?
[edit]If so, what is it from/ who wrote it? Thanks in advance.
I see you headless with him caressing your neck. My personal nightfall. An eclipse of the sunflowers. I feel so invisible. So unknown. A coffin of dust. An illegible tombstone. They finally buried the gravedigger in the sky. I just need to shower in your amber and bathe in your earth. . . . {Remainder of copyrighted text deleted.}

- Apparently from the booklet packed with a CD by Pig Destroyer, Prowler in the Yard. Also probably copyrighted, so shouldn't be posted here in its entirety. --LarryMac | Talk 00:46, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
prescription
[edit]what is tina fey's perscription? --Sam —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.13.217.10 (talk) 23:35, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- What do you mean by prescription (I assume you mean prescription, not "perscription")? Linguistic prescription? Legal prescription? Period of prescription? Anti-depressants? You've got to be more specific than that. Intelligentsiumreview 01:12, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Like, glasses. --Sam —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.13.217.10 (talk) 01:21, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Just a thought... Wouldn't that fall under the category of "Patient Confidentiality" and hence not be released unless Tina Fey directly approved it? Falconusp t c 04:20, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

- She's farsighted: I don't wear them very much in real life because I need them to see only far away. Haven't found the actual prescription. Tempshill (talk) 04:56, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Of course, if she needs them to see far away, it means she is nearsighted; i.e. she can only see well up close. People who are farsighted need reading glasses. People who are nearsighted need glasses for distance. --Jayron32 04:59, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- You'd think they'd have come up with something a little more clear than that. I always have to think it through to remember which is which. --Mr.98 (talk) 00:57, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
