[edit]Movie name help
[edit]I'm thinking of a movie. I believe its set in World War II, and featured (if I remember correctly) a German U-boat dueling with a river boat- perhaps in a jungle, perhaps not- and the river boat getting the upper hand by recovering a torpedo launched for the U-boat and beached on the river shore and using this to sink the sub. I regret to inform that I know none of the cast members, and having only gotten a brief look at the movie (I came home midway through it and fell asleep twenty minutes after hitting the chair) I do not know anything else about the flick. Can someone out there tell me what movie I may be looking for? TomStar81 (Talk) 02:01, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- Googling "u-boat movie jungle river" brought me right back here to Murphy's War, which sounds right. Adam Bishop (talk) 04:04, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- Yep, thats the one. Thanks! TomStar81 (Talk) 07:02, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- Good, 'cause I was gonna suggest The African Queen (despite various mismatches in detail). —Tamfang (talk) 07:40, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

engrish saying on mumbai calling
[edit]Hi, I was watching an episode of Mumbai Calling that aired recently on Australian tv, and it had a funny "Engrish" saying on it that I'm trying to remember. It was the episode where the call centre has a British visitor who explains the trials of love, and the reason why British women are single, by inadvertently discussing her own dramas and misfortunes. Then there was the bit where one of the guys is trying to write a speech, and he says "I'm going to create a bloody masterpiece!" which the other guy 'recognises' as "- Leonardo da Vinci, 1502." The Engrish quote I'm looking for was in the speech that the guy gave to a crowd of business associates from Mumbai and the UK, and went something like "It's time to show the world what I'm made of a man, not a mouse." Does anyone remember the exact quote, or have I actually got it right for once?? Thanks, It's been emotional (talk) 18:28, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- I think you're referring to episode 05, Dating Season. I can't find the teleplay for any episodes except the first 3, which I found here. Wolfgangus (talk) 14:35, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
The IBBC Website
[edit]I watched The International last night and I've done some searching. Sony made fake websites for the movie: [1] and [2]. There is a login page on [3] and I was wondering if by logging in I could access some cool information related to the movie. To get an account I think you have to register at [4] and when I try to it says there was a problem sending the email. I know the sweepstakes is over but I really want to log in to the IBBC's site. Can someone tell me if logging into the site is still possible or registering an account just to look around? --Melab±1 ☎ 19:40, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
