[edit]Acronym
[edit]What is UHF?174.3.103.39 (talk) 06:55, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- I guess it's a group that play Ultimate and now can't say their full name because the F may stand for Frisbee which although a common word, is actually a trademark. The sport itself used to be known as Ultimate Frisbee but they had to change it.Popcorn II (talk) 10:29, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- With regard to the reference itself at of the ORIGINAL acronym, it probably refers to Ultra high frequency, a segment of the radio spectrum which in the U.S. used to be used (prior to June of this year) for analog transmissions of the TV channels from 14-63. U.S. Channels 2-13 were part of the Very high frequency part of the spectrum as is analog U.S. FM radio broadcasts. --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 17:17, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- That likely has nothing to do with what the semantic in this "context"/situation.
- U = ultimate
- F = Frisbee
- is likely, but what about H?174.3.103.39 (talk) 09:09, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- It appears to be the name of a tournament that Vernon Ultimate puts on. Why not use the contact info available on their site to ask them for specifics? — Lomn 18:09, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ultimate Hall of Fame, perhaps? But they never use the UHF abbreviation. --jpgordon::==( o ) 16:27, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
A Turkish "delightful"(?) rooters' song

What is actual lyrics of this song and the meaning of it. It has made a popular mondegreen in South Korea. -- JSH-alive talk • cont • mail 10:25, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- I get a "Forbidden" error when attempting to access that link. Tempshill (talk) 20:40, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- That is an incredibly catchy tune. I don't even speak the language and that song is now stuck in my head. I was unable to find lyrics for this song, or even a translation that I could work with. You may get a better response on the Language Desk. 152.16.59.190 (talk) 03:24, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Alright. I'll make an alert on the Language Desk. More question. What is the name of the song? If it has variations in lyrics, which version is seen in the video? -- JSH-alive talk • cont • mail 14:23, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- The video is listed on several sites as "Ali Sami Yen Hell", a reference to Ali Sami Yen Stadium, which according to the article, "is nicknamed "Hell" by Galatasaray's supporters because of its intimidating atmosphere and the enthusiastic support of the fans who often make mass use of torches, smoke, drums, flags and giant posters to create visual grandeur and apply psychological pressure on visiting teams.". All the versions I saw were identical to the one you linked to at naver.com but I found English lyrics to some songs that have minor similarities. The similarities weren't enough to attempt a reconstruction of the lyrics of this song, but enough to indicate that certain words are common in the songs. 152.16.59.190 (talk) 23:25, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

THE SHADOW RADIO PROGRAM
[edit]i AM COLLECTING THESE PROGRAMS AND NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY EPISODES OF THE SHADOW RADIO PROGRAM ARE AVAILABLE ON MP3. AMAZON.COM HAS ONE WITH 239 PROGRAMS IS THAT GOING TO BE THE MOST I WILL FIND. PLEASE RESPOND BACK TO (email address removed) I APPRECIATE ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU CAN SUPPLY TO ME. THANK DOUGLAS DAVIS
- Please don't write in all caps. The Shadow knows that out of 639 episodes that aired, at least 452 are missing, leaving 187 at the most. (The way that article is worded, there may be many more episodes missing.) I can't reconcile the claim in the article that at most 187 episodes exist with your statement that you can buy 239 — maybe the extra episodes are from some sort of sequel, or are in another language or something? Or possibly the article is incorrect. Tempshill (talk) 20:08, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
