Who are the actors in this Cisco ad

[edit]

I recognize Leon Russom from Prison Break, but two others look really familiar though I can’t place them. The ad is on Youtube: 30-second version 60-second version. Thanks. --Mathew5000 (talk) 07:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that the asian woman is Kieu Chinh but I can't be sure. I know I've seen her in something but I can't recall what. Dismas|(talk) 08:31, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE: Through a Google search I found this page identifying Joe Lambie as one of the actors. He is identifiable from this photo (at MacGyver Online). It's still a bit odd that I can't find, anywhere on the Internet, a list of the actors in that ad, since most or all of them are character actors with lengthy résumés. --Mathew5000 (talk) 10:56, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I emailed Cisco and they helpfully got the info for me from Ogilvy & Mather. The actors in the “I Will Survive” spot are:

Music and intertanment

[edit]

I have heard and recorded on tape from the radio a song which is simular to "the devil went down to georgia" the version I have on tape is changed to " the devil went to jamacia, to sell some weed when he spyed another dealer", its set to the tune of the devil went to georgia tune by charles daniels version. I cant find out anything about the version i recorded off of the radio, although the dj did say the singer was david allen coe. Does any one have any informatiom? I wish i could send you a copy, so you would know its for real. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sonoflas (talkcontribs) 19:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We have an article on David Allen Coe, but it does not mention this song. This google search "the+devil+went+to+jamaica"+coe&btnG=Search&meta= should be of help to you. DuncanHill (talk) 20:13, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hum, I don't seem to be able tolink to the search result, but google ["Devil went to jamaica" poe] and you should find the song you are looking for. DuncanHill (talk) 20:15, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Should be “coe” not “poe”. Here’s a link. --Mathew5000 (talk) 21:16, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It appears that the DJ made a mistake. The song appears to be by Travis Mayer. Dr Demento plays this rather often, and he says Travis Mayer. Dr Demento is pretty accurate on these things. Every time Dr Demento plays this track, he always mentions that there's no CD you can get it on. APL (talk) 01:37, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
