[edit]Pokemon Advanced Battle
[edit]I like Pokémon, but I'm not a total fanatic, so I was wondering if anybody knows one of the characters shown in the opening [[1]] The character I am asking appears, if you watch this video, on the 28th second of the time. It is shown as a shady character in a alleyway, only shadows, and the character quickly jumps away. I hope I described it well enough, thanks.
Is it Gligarman? I don't think so, but that's all I could think of, lol. --Ninjawolf (talk) 02:41, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's Mewtwo. 64.236.121.129 (talk) 16:14, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

- I would say that Rugby is correct, see Scrum (rugby union). The hooker is one of the most important positions in the game. 86.21.74.40 (talk) 09:29, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

According to IMDB in the FAQ of Never Say Never Again, says that Timothy Dalton had a cameo appearance in this film, but it says that there's an extra in the videogame room of the casino scene that looks marginally like him. Can someone find the image of this guy that looks like Dalton? David Pro (talk) 13:58, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Who was the writer of the Spanish adaptations of the songs "Livin' la Vida Loca", "Bella (She's All I Ever Had)" and "La Diosa del Carnaval (Spanish Eyes)"? David Pro (talk) 14:05, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
College football stats
[edit]Trying to write an article on a current NFL player (Ryan Grant) but I've been unable to find any decent stats on his college football career - the only one (here) covering all 4 years of his collegiate career are first-party sources, and whilst I've used them for now would like to improve on them. Indeed, they're also poorly coded and so some information that is in the HTML doesn't actually show up on the page. They're also lacking cumulative career stats (ie how many yards he ran for over his entire college career without having to add them up individually, etc etc.). I've found a lot of websites - basically the entire first two pages of this google search - and nothing really helps. Anyone got a good link? Does such a site even exist? Not entirely sure this is the right place, but it seemed the most appropriate... Cheers, AllynJ (talk | contribs) 14:35, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- I find ESPN to be a good starting place for any recent player. Here's Grant's collegiate stat page (found by going to ND's team page, then stats, then the correct year). — Lomn 14:54, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks -- but unfortunately that only has his stats on his profile for 2004... It's odd, as it has his stats listed under the team page for individual season stats, but not his profile. But unfortunately that doesn't have game-by-game stats, which doesn't help for things like 100+ rushing games/season and such. Also, I think the team stats for '01 (his freshman year) are missing. - Ah, so it does. On the other hand, missing the 2004 season is this page related to your link above, though it has mostly-cumulative numbers and some 100yd/game info and such. — Lomn 15:58, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Finally, here's what Sports Illustrated has, after dredging through their horrible archives: season totals (no game-by-game) for 2001 and 2003, plus game-by-game for 2002 and 2004. Hopefully that's enough of a combination of stuff. — Lomn 16:06, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- That looks incredibly useful: thanks a lot for all your help, very much appreciated. :) AllynJ (talk | contribs) 17:23, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Is Kathy Phillips's "I Wish" a cover?
[edit][2] Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Imagine Reason (talk • contribs) 23:47, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- There a lot of songs on the planet called "I Wish" - it's difficult to tell. Not unless you had a comparison of the lyrics with other songs... e.g. R Kelly's song "I Wish", Skee-Lo's "I wish", Babyshambles "I wish" etc. ScarianCall me Pat 00:47, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
