April 26
[edit]Hey, it's still 10:34pm on April 25th. So don't make a new section until it is actually that day. I'll let you off easy this time, but don't do it again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.113.79.227 (talk) 02:35, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, it might be 10:34 where you are....--Shantavira|feed me 07:14, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks officer. We'll try harder in the future. APL (talk) 14:11, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia uses UTC to standardize time. While it might be 10 PM where you were it was 12:00 AM UTC so it was put under the next day's listing —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paragon12321 (talk • contribs) 16:05, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
2d stealth games?
[edit]Greetings. I am looking for 2d stealth games for the PC, the likes of which I have yet to encounter in a two dimensional world. The closest approximations I can think of are Splinter Cell and Thief; Are there any games that you folks can think of off the top of your heads that are not entirely dissimilar in gamesply style? 216.178.50.32 (talk) 04:37, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines is sort of 2D, the action is viewed from a 3D angle but the gameplay is 2D. You could also have a look at some of the older games mentioned in the Stealth game article - X201 (talk) 19:14, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
The card game "Concentration" / "Memory"
[edit]According to the page on Concentration (game), it's variously known as "Memory" / "Concentration" / "Pelmanism" — what I need to know is how these names are currently distributed across the English speaking globe. I posted a query on the Talk page for the article; would appreciate answers here or there -- Thanks, Deborahjay (talk) 07:17, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- I (in southern England) have always called it 'memory pairs'. Algebraist 12:37, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- (midwest USA) If you call it "Concentration" I'd expect to see a rebus behind the pairs, because of Concentration (game show). "Memory", on the other hand, makes me think of the Milton Bradley kids game which had pictures of animals and shapes to be matched. That same game played with regular playing cards? I never even considered the possibility until I followed the link to Concentration (game) in your question. --tcsetattr (talk / contribs) 23:45, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- In southern England (with midlands influence) we just called it 'memory' or 'the memory game', sometimes 'pairs'. 'Concentration' was a different game we learnt at Guides, involving rhythm and sitting in a circle. No cards. Concentration... Concentration has begun. Feel the rhythm... Slap clap click click. 79.66.99.37 (talk) 00:19, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- We called it "pairs" but I heard someone call it "Kim's Game",which is not quite accurate IMHO hotclaws 12:13, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Isn't Kim's Game a different memory game?
Thanks to all for your responses, which I've posted on the Talk page for the game. -- Cheers, Deborahjay (talk) 10:44, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Microsoft vs Yahoo
[edit]Its appears there may be more to Microsoft's desire to buyout Yahoo. Windows Media Player versus Yahoo's Music Jukebox. My new RCA player can use either to convert and load music files but more importantly both provide access to online stores so in reality it looks like Microsoft's real interest in Yahoo is to eliminate one source of competition. I can think of several reasons why I am against such a merger. Are there others? 71.100.11.39 (talk) 08:15, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Game Montages
[edit]I was wondering how people record their screens while playing their xbox/playstation. Is there a recording feature built in? or what? I know it's not from a camera recording the tv, because the quality is great. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.101.1.186 (talk) 15:01, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

music SONG LYRICS
[edit]I am looking for the song lyrics for an old possibly classical OR BROADWAY SHOW song. Some of the lyrics are as follows: "LET THERE BE MUSIC, FROM THE FRUITED PLAIN, WITH MUSIC FROM THE HEART, MUSIC FROM THE AZSURE SKY, OVER A PEACEFUL LAND"... DO YOU RECOGNIZE ANY OF THEM?
IF SO, CAN YOU PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH THE COMPLETE LYRICS? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shortieprice (talk • contribs) 19:31, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- "Fruited plain" seems to be from America the beautiful.
The information you are looking for is from a song titled "Let There Be Music - Hymn to America" Harold Flammer Choral Series. Copyright 1949, by Harold Flammer, Inc. Music by Frances Williams. Words by Marjorie Elliott. It is a beautiful song.
A Song
[edit]I lived in Hawaii for some time recently back in 07, and there is this song that i liked alot its a slow song but i cant seem to remember the name or the artist. I know part of the lyrics but no lyric search engine can ever find the song, so i figured i ask here. Some of the lyrics are "give me the grind give me the morning grind, anything you want me to, ill abide." And there is a part i remember that goes like this "its a shame for me to unbutton your dress". Thats all i can remember. Its a slow type or reggae or Hawaiian style music. Thanks for any effort given to help me find the song! --Nick910 (talk) 21:20, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Spongebob
[edit]So, do any of you guys like Spongebob? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.113.79.227 (talk) 21:24, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- Didn't you ask the same question about, eh say, 27 hours ago? --Nick910 (talk) 21:25, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- This page is for factual questions, not opinions. Please don't ask again. If you enjoy Spongebob Squarepants, please try searching the Internet for perhaps a discussion forum regarding the cartoon. Adam (Manors) 21:51, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry... nerd.
Is true that in Casino Royale, the James Bond theme wasn't used until the end of the film, and which version of the Bond theme is played during the end credits? David Pro (talk) 21:38, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- As I recall, the first part is true (CR is set as the "beginning" of the Bond storyline, so the delay of the classic theme works well). — Lomn 13:48, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
