[edit]Radio programmes
[edit]Where can i find some famous radio show formulas?I need the scripts or fix rubrics~~~~
- I love you, I was just talking about this this week. These are not scripts nor formats, just references of popular broadcasts The Shadow was a cool movie, and I read about it on the wikisite. I'd look up one of the most famous of radio programming The War Of The Worlds. (If anyone knows of the Nazi WWII speeches online, I don't speaken ze deustch, but still would be interesting hears.) My friend on the radio indicated that in the U.S. you'll have a bunch of regulations to get by for radio programs, but seeing that you spelled it Programmes, you may have the free'er radio waves. See if you can get a Robert Ludlow BOURNE series on the radio. I'll listen. --Specialagent777
'''I am a radio host in a local radio station and i am looking for some ideas to color up my show. Don`t know what to do anymore. Anyone having ideas and willing to give them for free is welcomed :) ENDR1T'''
- How about, 'Let's Take Some Calls'. WHAT IS LOCAL? (City?State?Country?) I guess if you are on the internet, then all is Local, but the ideas would have to spring from the demographic your radiowaves reach. If in a rural area, have your Community College or HS Drama kids come up with a 10-12 min program of REALITY RADIO. Like an OC, OneTreeHill, LagunaBeach, RealWorld show for radio listeners. Sounds like a crappy thing, and I wouldn't want to hear it, but you may actually get some young listeners. i am the kwisatz haderach 16:09, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- While at the library in BevHils, they have a pretty good sized section on Radio. I noticed a particular book that made me think of your question. I skimmed through it, had good basic startup info, you may want to check it out on amazon or ebay if you are not local for big broadcasting cities, 'The Radio Producer's Handbook' by Rick Kaempfor and John Swanson. I recommend going to your local library, checking out 10 even 20 books on Radio Broadcasting, skim through em' for ideas. This will save you lots of pounds of shipping and costs and storage to own em'. Own a Library card, you then own the entire Library. Good motto to read by. --i am the kwisatz haderach 23:39, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
movie search
[edit]I am trying to find the movie that was made about just men, it was the opposite of "The women" except the cast were all men and the movie was from the men prespective. Do you know the name of this movie? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.243.4.157 (talk) 20:03, August 29, 2007 (UTC)
- Louisa May Alcott and her 'Little Women' and her 'Little Men'. Or do you mean the George Cukor directed film of 1939 'The Women' with a 2008 Remake of the same title? imdb has a Brando film called 'The Men' back in 1950. Men, women, pretty vague. More info. Time of film? Any actors names? i am the kwisatz haderach 22:47, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- Little Men doesn't just have men in it. In fact, most of the characters are boys, not men, but the main character is Jo, protagonist from Little Women, who's a woman. Corvus cornix 15:46, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure how to interpret "the opposite of The Women". I've found a few movies that seem to have all-male casts, for example Twelve Angry Men, Stalag 17, U-571, and Glengarry Glen Ross, but I don't know if any of them would be called opposites. For what it's worth, one of the taglines for The Women was "It's all about men". --LarryMac | Talk 19:23, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
- U-571 does not have an all male cast. Dismas|(talk) 09:21, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Thus my cunning use of the word "seem". --LarryMac | Talk 15:57, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
