[edit]Earbuds not of equal volume
[edit]Hello! So this may seem like an odd question, but for the past year or so, I've been using JLab Audio brand earbuds, and they tend to work fine... for a few months. Then randomly one or both of the earbuds will get much quieter in volume. With my most recent pair I've found that if I remove the mesh screen (I think that's what it is) covering the actual speaker then the volume is normal. My question is why does this happen and is there a way I can prevent it from happening and/or fix it without removing the mesh screen? I'm thinking it may be due to a buildup of ear wax on the screen but I'm not entirely sure. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:08, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
- I would definitely start by cleaning them. Just Google it or take a look at the Wikihow article (scroll down to the earbud section). Clean the plug at the same time: the volume balance can also be affected by a poor connection. Shantavira|feed me 08:17, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
- @Shantavira: I probably should've mentioned that these earbuds are bluetooth wireless. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 11:16, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
Also breaking some of the wire in the connection might cause intermittent drops in volume.Graeme Bartlett (talk) 10:55, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
