[edit]Computer against the entropy
[edit]Is reversible computing a really thing or just a theoretical model?
To me, the theory sounds more like a purely mathematical model, as one would come across in mathematics and theoretical physics. Or is RC a real thing that can be implemented technically? 2A02:908:424:9D60:7100:3AFC:91AC:329B (talk) 12:38, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
- At the gate level, the feasibility has been demonstrated, but that is a far cry from a functioning CPU. Interestingly, quantum logic gates are reversible, so if quantum computing ever becomes practical, most computing will be reversible. --Lambiam 18:10, 11 October 2022 (UTC)
