basahan Unicode....

[edit]

Hi, may I ask? how to request a unicode Characters or maybe to make a new unicode Character? --Philippinesᜰᜲᜫᜲᜨ᜴ ᜢᜩᜲᜰᜳᜧ᜴Philippines(Talk)

There is a FAQ item on the Unicode Consortium web site that walks you through submitting a proposal. 85.76.69.250 (talk) 13:22, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As an individual you stand little chance of successfully submitting a proposal. If your aim is to have the Basahan script supported in Unicode, the best would seem to team up with scholars who publish articles that discuss the script or texts written in the script. It is not clear to me what the relationship is between Baybayin (which is supported in Unicode) and Basahan, but it is likely that there are scholars at the Archives of the University of Santo Tomas (website: http://www.ust.edu.ph/archives/) who can help you further.  --Lambiam 19:41, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Website to share computer code.

[edit]

I need to post some computer code for a brief 20 min perhaps for someone to copy it, we have an agreement. I remember in the past there had been such free websites for texts and pictures. I found only one CodeShare.com but I have difficulty adjusting to it. Do you know of other sites? Thanks AboutFace 22 (talk) 18:20, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You could try:
  • Pastebin (keep in mind you won't be able to delete it afterward unless you sign up first)
  • Github Gist (login required)
If the code itself is fairly secretive, you may be better off just emailing it to them instead. —{ CrypticCanadian } 23:24, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Cryptic Canadian, because email is so confidential? Elizium23 (talk) 23:46, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Elizium23: In the sense that the contents won't be immediately available to the public and listed on search engines, yes. —{ CrypticCanadian } 23:50, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
They could use a private repository on GitHub. Elizium23 (talk) 23:51, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
